Aizu Sazae-do temple in the hills above the city of Aizu where 19 young boys did seppuku (Japanese ritual suicide) during the Battle of Aizu 1868. It was a misstake. The boys, 20 of them (one survived), believed that the city on fire was the castle. And that their samurai army had lost the castle and the battle of Aizu.
